No, Money Mentors will never sell anything to your employees. Part of our mission is to provide unbiased education, so our educators are not paid on a commission basis, and we intentionally do not represent anyone selling financial products.
Any employee can become a member, whether part-time or full-time. The HR department gets to determine who in the organization has access. Employees are more than welcome to include partners/family in their mentorship meetings.
Rather than focusing on one issue in particular such as retirement or investing, Mentoro takes a holistic approach to financial education and we help employees understand how they can improve every aspect of their financial lives, no matter what stage of life they are in.
It’s a breeze! We offer a turn-key solution that saves your team valuable time and effort. To get started, all it takes is a quick onboarding call to discuss logistics and the only employee information we need are names and emails. Once we nail down the logistics, Mentoro will design a custom promotional campaign based on your insights. Our program can be rolled out in as little as a month, and there’s no need to abide by a specific open enrollment schedule.
We will only use contact information to execute custom promotional campaigns that are approved by HR, and our team works closely with the HR department to determine the method, timing, and frequency of any employee communication. Mentoro will never use direct employee information for general marketing purposes, especially for those who have not elected to sign up for an account.
Mentoro creates a custom marketing plan based on your organization’s specific needs and goals. Examples include email campaigns, raffles and giveaways, informational webinars, kick-off events and much more. Your engagement specialist will work closely with your team to ensure that your employees and the organization are reaping the full benefits of a successful financial education program!
Mentoro is committed to keeping your employees’ information secure; we never share employee information with vendors or outside parties (including anyone at your organization). We’ve implemented privacy standards to guard against identity theft and unauthorized access to personal information. Mentoro uses 256-bit encryption to keep all information indecipherable and private. These are the same procedures and standards used by banks and the military. Additionally, no one ever has access to employees’ account credentials. They may give Mentors & administrators permission to view their information for coaching and support, but the default setting is private.

A contract is not required for our ‘per utilization’ pricing option, allowing your organization freedom and flexibility to ensure that the program is working well. Unlike many other financial wellness programs, Mentoro does not have any startup fees or participation minimums!
Every partner is assigned a designated relationship manager to work closely with your HR department to ensure that your goals are being met. This individual will ensure there is proper billing, reporting, customer service and ongoing educational support.
